Biography of Glen Mossong

1980: I was born on February 13th, 1980 in Auckland, New Zealand. At age 5 I moved with my family to Tauranga in the Bay of Plenty.

1985: I lived in Tauranga until the age of 18, completing all my schooling here. Over these years it became clear to me that visual art and making things with my hands was my gifting, something handed down to me from my Dad. So at the age of 18 after finishing secondary school I moved away to the city of Hamilton where I trained as a graphic designer.

1998: I spent a total of 5 years training and working as a designer in Hamilton, never really picking up my paints and pencils during this time.

2003: After a stint back in Tauranga again during 2003, I returned to familiar grounds in 2004 basing myself in Raglan, a small costal town, 30 minutes west of Hamilton city.

2004: Along with a close friend I began the process of establishing my own company, The Reformation. Today I work under this brand.

2007: A decade after putting my fine art aside I have begun again.
